Mark Webber, US Managing Partner at Fieldfisher Silicon Valley


Mark is a recognized leading privacy and AI lawyer, with a wealth of experience working alongside the world's leading tech companies. Whether it's a high-growth or a well-established enterprise, the decision to internationalize or scale globally inevitably requires the senior management team to navigate unfamiliar legal landscapes. Over the course of his 26-year career in tech, Mark has worked closely with such individuals, providing valued guidance in investment, sales, licensing, and exploring privacy, online, and compliance activities in the UK and EU. Currently, a significant portion of his work involves the responsible development, training, and scaling of AI models and solutions.


Mark teaches classes for both the CIPP/e and AI Governance Professional Programme certification for the IAPP. Mark is registered with the California Bar as a Foreign Legal Consultant.



Natalie Farmer, Partner, Fieldfisher Silicon Valley


Natalie is a Partner in the Technology and Data practice at Fieldfisher (Silicon Valley). Natalie splits her time between California and London, advising clients on a global basis with EU and UK data privacy compliance, AI governance, complex data transfer issues and technology transactions. Natalie has a wealth of experience working alongside fast moving technology companies and is tasked daily with finding innovative solutions to complex legal challenges. Natalie also counsels clients in connection with product or feature launches involving high risk technologies or data processing.


Natalie is a faculty member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (Artificial Intelligence Governance Professional) and is registered with the California Bar as an Foreign Legal Consultant.
