## Description
The World A.I. Film Festival (WAIFF), the first French festival dedicated to AI-generated cinema, will take place on the Côte d’Azur on April 21–22, 2026.  
  
Rooted in the tradition of filmmaking, WAIFF celebrates works that blend creativity with new technologies, while honoring the essence of cinema. The event will feature exclusive screenings, industry talks, and an awards ceremony. The Grand Prize (€10,000) will go to the best AI-created film, with other awards offering valuable opportunities, including collaborations with partners like Genario and ClapAction. Founded by the EuropIA Institute and the Alpes-Maritimes Department, in partnership with TechCannes, Studio Laffitte, Genario, and the AI House, WAIFF opens new creative perspectives for both filmmakers and audiences.
