Back to Wednesdays next time\*\*\* Hey everyone, This Thursday 10-11am PT / 1-2pm ET is our weekly digital get together to connect on how we are all making our way through this new era for creative industries and AI among other emergent technologies, sharing ideas, tips, knowledge amongst ourselves. Our group is an amazing mix of creators/ producers/ builders/ some new to this stuff/ some OG/ all of us constantly learning. This week’s guests: Bia Granja: She’s spent 20 years inside the Creator Economy. Not observing it. Building it. She founded and sold the most relevant Creator Economy consultancy and platform in LATAM and has been developing the systems, frameworks and playbooks that companies in this space actually run on. Jay Blumenfeld: He is one of the architects of the vertical micro-drama industry in the United States — a producer, strategist, and operator who saw the format coming before the rest of the industry had a name for it. As co-founder and CEO of Jay & Tony Show Productions (JTS), Jay has built one of the most active independent micro-drama studios in North America, producing across multiple international production hubs with titles reaching the global charts on the world's leading micro-drama platforms. JTS operates across the full ecosystem — scripted originals, co-productions, branded content, and AI-assisted production. Before vertical, Jay spent two decades producing premium television for the networks that defined American entertainment:The Chelsea Handler Show (E!), Here Comes the Newlyweds (ABC), Dane Cook's Tourgasm (HBO),Gigolos (Showtime), and Stupid Pet Tricks (TBS). He was producing short-form content for Quibi when most producers were still dismissing the format entirely. Jay was instrumental in passing the first micro-drama tax incentive through the Los Angeles City Council — a $5M initiative that established the format as a legitimate production category in the world's largest entertainment market.
