We are at a point now where AI can be both the Designer and the Developer. The hard part is figuring out what is actually worth building... and now we have Claude Design Two sessions: One about judgment and taste, the other about executing a vision. Session 1: Designing With Taste in the Age of AI When everything looks good and standardized, nothing stands out. As AI standardizes craftsmanship, taste remains as the true competitive edge. Somesh K. Suresh reframes taste as a designer's core leverage, shifting the role from maker to editor. How to turn AI into a powerful generator while you focus on what truly matters: choosing what deserves to exist. Session 2: From Design to Code — The Scaffolding Pipeline You have a vision. Maybe it's in your head. Maybe it's a website you admire. Maybe it's a sketch. Tom Axberg will walk through a live pipeline for turning design intent into working code using Claude Design (Anthropic's brand new design tool) to prototype visually, RPG-Encoder to extract a structural blueprint from reference codebases or websites, and Claude Code to scaffold the real thing.
