## Description
Hey everyone,  
This Wednesday 10-11am PT / 1-2pm ET is our weekly digital get together to connect on how we are all making our way through this new era for creative industries and AI among other emergent technologies, sharing ideas, tips, knowledge amongst ourselves.  
Our group is an amazing mix of creators/ producers/ builders/ some new to this stuff/ some OG/ all of us constantly learning.  
This week’s guests:  
Ed Zobrist is a veteran game industry executive and entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience spanning video games, social gaming, and toys. He most recently served as Head of Publishing at Epic Games from 2016 to 2021, where he led the launch of Fortnite in 2017, which became the most profitable video game of the last decade. Currently, he is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Southern California, teaching in the game development program.  
Throughout his career, Zobrist has been involved with hit products totaling over $7 billion in sales, including Fortnite, the Fast & Furious Facebook game (producer/designer), The Simpsons Hit 'n Run video game (marketing), and He-Man: Masters of the Universe toys (marketing and episode writing). He founded two game development companies: Zono Games (1991-2002) and ASAP Games (2008-2012).  
Mike Gioia is a filmmaker, designer, and co-founder of AI on the Lot, the world's largest conference about generative AI's impact on media and entertainment. He currently serves as Minister of Bots at Cantina Labs, where he designs AI pipelines that produce realistic, high-quality outputs from AI models. Along with Ian Eck, he founded Late Arrivals in 2022, a generative AI film and media company focused on pioneering AI-native filmmaking techniques. Previously, Gioia worked in television before transitioning to AI media production. He co-founded Pickaxe in 2023, a platform for creating customizable front-end interfaces around AI prompts.  
Ian Eck is a product designer, filmmaker, and co-founder of AI on the Lot alongside Todd Terrazas and Mike Gioia. He serves as Minister of Bots and Senior Designer at Cantina Labs, where he focuses on designing AI media. As co-founder and producer of Late Arrivals since 2022, he runs generative AI film experiments spanning films, websites, and AI-in-real-life experiences. Eck co-founded Pickaxe in 2023, serving as Chief Product Officer before the company's exit, where he built a platform for creating customizable AI prompt interfaces. Prior to his work in AI media, he spent several years as a UX designer and creative director, working with clients including Kaiser Permanente, T-Mobile, Western Union, Humana, and various startups through Redshift Digital and his own studio, Eck Studios.
