## Description
Building anything is easy now. Building the right thing is hard. In 2 hours, you'll work in small teams to put an idea in front of real people, listen closely to what you learn, and iterate using paper, conversation, and selective AI assistance. For digital product builders, entrepreneurs, and anyone wanting to serve their community better with the skills they already have.
What This Is
This is a hands-on workshop for people who build—or want to build—technology that serves their communities, churches, ministries, or businesses well.
The tools have never been more powerful. AI prototyping platforms can generate working software in minutes. But the hardest, most important work hasn't changed: figuring out what to build, who you're building for, and whether what you've made actually helps them. This workshop is about the hardest part: the listening, the discernment, and the willingness to set aside what we thought would work and pay attention to what actually does.
What You'll Do
You'll work in small teams of three, mixed across roles and backgrounds. Across three rapid rounds, you'll:
Round 1: Generate a starter prototype with AI, sketch it on paper, and test it with real humans in the room.
Round 2: Iterate on paper based on what you learned, simplify, and lock in what matters most.
Round 3: Translate your validated paper version back into AI, this time grounded in evidence, not assumption.
Two skills run in parallel throughout: rapid prototyping and structured listening. You'll learn to show your work without pitching, capture how people actually behave (not just what they politely say), and synthesize feedback fast enough to act on it.
Who This Is For
Developers, designers, product managers, and entrepreneurs in the FaithTech community.
Pastors, ministry leaders, and nonprofit operators with an idea or tool they want to build.
Anyone curious about how AI tools are reshaping what's possible and what still requires distinctly human work.
People who want to build for their community, not just with the latest tech.
No idea required to attend. No design or engineering background needed. Teams form live in the room.
What You'll Leave With
A practiced framework for testing ideas with real people, fast.
Hands-on experience with AI prototyping tools used in service of real human feedback.
A clearer sense of where AI accelerates good work and where it can quietly lead us astray.
Connections with other builders in the FaithTech Seattle community.
What To Bring
Your phone: For recording conversations, capturing photos of paper prototypes, and using web-based AI tools.
Optional: A laptop.
Required Tools: Please have one AI prototyping tool ready (e.g., Google Stitch, v0, Lovable, Bolt, or Figma Make) and one transcription tool (e.g., Granola, Otter, ChatGPT voice mode, or your phone's voice memo app).
A Setup Bay opens 30 minutes before the workshop (5:30 PM) to help anyone get connected.
About the Facilitator
Marc Krejci is the founder of Pathfinder Foundry, where he works with early-stage founders on customer discovery, product development, and go-to-market strategy. Previously, Marc led product design for Meta AI on Quest, Meta Accounts, and Horizon Profiles for VR at Meta (2017–2024). He is a named inventor on patents in VR authentication, AR scene capture, and automated video. Marc serves as the Co-Create Lead for FaithTech Seattle and the Global Advisory Chair.
About FaithTech
FaithTech is a global tech community for Christ with a vision to see a Jesus revival awakened in and through tech all over the world. We gather technologists in communities to hear the Gospel and lay down their lives for the sake of His mission, directly confronting the false gospels of power, greed, and independence.
