## Description
Join us for a meaningful community service event as part of Humans in AI Week, the world's largest celebration of human-centered AI, organized by The AI Collective. While Humans in AI Week focuses on conversations about the future of intelligence and technology, we believe true human-centered AI starts with human-centered action. This volunteering opportunity brings together AI professionals, enthusiasts, and community members to support local families in the Atlanta area facing food insecurity. We'll be volunteering with the Atlanta Food Bank to inspect, sort, and pack quality grocery donations to prepare for distribution to nearly 700 partner agencies across Georgia. Dress Code Closed-toe, closed-heel shoes required (sneakers or work boots recommended) Not allowed: flip flops, Crocs, sandals, or heels Wear comfortable clothing, you don’t mind getting a little messy. Adult Volunteer Requirements Volunteers must complete registration via a link which will be provided after signing up. Volunteers must also complete a volunteer release form. Youth Volunteer Requirements Volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. To register a youth volunteer, please register yourself for the shift first. Then email volunteers@acfb.org with the name and age of the youth. Important Information: Please arrive 10 minutes early. Orientation begins promptly at the start of the shift. Late arrivals may be unable to serve. You must also register on the Food Bank website following this link: https://vhub.at/TheAICollective.
