## Description
Let’s Make Shrimp with Claude Code Channels!

This is an offline event where we can all try out Claude Code Channels, create projects, and share what we’ve learned. The organizer, Nukonuko (@nukonuko), is one of the Claude Community Ambassadors.

Are you familiar with the concept of “Ebi”? Inspired by Anthropic’s 8-bit mascot character Claw’d, ClawBot (now OpenClaw) has become a trend, and recently, more and more people have been incorporating self-improving, autonomous AI agents like Nous Research’s Hermes Agent into their daily lives.

In the Japanese community, these AI agents are affectionately referred to as “Ebi,” and a culture of nurturing and caring for them is emerging. The purpose of this event is to actually build one of these Ebi agents.

If you have an X account, please make sure to unlock your private account and follow me—this is required so that I can identify you.

Also, unless you have already completed the Ebi setup, we recommend bringing a laptop.

Important Notes

Taking photos or videos that capture the faces of other participants is strictly prohibited unless permission is granted. Please feel free to share your learnings and insights publicly, within appropriate limits.

If you will be late, please contact the organizer. If you are unable to attend, please cancel as soon as possible once you know.

Schedule

6:30 PM – 7:00 PM | Check-in & Networking

Once you arrive at the venue, please check in and feel free to mingle until the event begins.

7:00 PM – 7:15 PM | Opening

We will explain the purpose of the event, provide a brief introduction to Claude Code Channels, and outline the agenda for the day.

7:15 PM – 8:15 PM | Hands-On

Let’s build an “Ebi” using Claude Code Channels. If you’ve never built an Ebi before, you’ll set it up on your own computer while reading the simple official documentation—up to the point where you can call Claude Code Channels from the Discord or Telegram app on your smartphone.

For those who are already working on an Ebi, we don’t often get much time to discuss topics like memory management or what is and isn’t possible, so let’s work on them together in a lively atmosphere. You’re welcome to work on your own or consult with people nearby.

8:15 PM – 8:45 PM | Sharing Insights by Table

At each table, share the Ebi you’ve created, what you’ve tried, what worked well, and any challenges you encountered.

If you have any learnings or insights you’d like to share, we’d appreciate it if you could post them on X with the hashtag #aimeetup. This allows us to read what others at different tables are saying and makes it easier to review later.

8:45–9:00 PM | Group Sharing & Closing

If there are any interesting insights from each table, we’ll share them with the whole group, and then we’ll wrap up the session.

9:00–9:30 PM | Networking

After the session ends, please feel free to mingle as time allows.
