## Description
Join us to celebrate the launch of the second ESSEC Metalab Review. Featuring 15 articles authored by members of the IDEAS think tank, this edition dives into the ethics and challenges of AI and its consequences for our world. IDEAS is a student-driven initiative at ESSEC dedicated to navigating the complex intersection of technological innovation and social responsibility. To mark this release, we are bringing these themes to life with a roundtable discussion designed to ask who AI alignment actually serves; whose values get built into these systems, and whose don't. Discussants: IDEAS editors Michelle Diaz and Leria Huang in discussion with Bruno Perreau, Professor of French Studies at MIT and author of "Spheres of Injustice: The Ethical Promise of Minority Presence" (Sphères d'injustice. Pour un universalisme minoritaire - La Découverte and MIT Press, 2025), newly released in 2026. Moderator: Guillaume Chevillon, Professor of Economics and Data Analytics at ESSEC Business School and author of "Algorithmes queers" (Editions B42, April 2026). Drinks will be served after the discussion. Open to ESSEC students and the public. Copies of the Metalab Review #2 will be available.
