## Description
Join Arize AI for an evening of talks and networking in New York City. Whether you're building AI agents, fine-tuning models, or scaling AI in production, connect with fellow builders pushing the industry forward. Hear firsthand lessons from teams shipping agents today — from architecture decisions to evaluation strategies — and stick around for drinks and conversation with the community. 📍 New York City (register to see exact location) 🍕 Food and drinks will be provided — AGENDA 6:00 - 6:30 PM — Check-in & Welcome Reception 6:30 - 7:00 PM — Unanchored: The Fate of Software Engineering in a World Where Everybody Can Code Craig Owenby, Software Engineer – Citadel As AI has become more integrated into the software engineering process, people across the world have been left with the question: what value do I provide if AI writes my code? In this talk, Craig Owenby ponders the intersection of technology and humanity in a world where they are often placed at odds with each other. 7:00 - 7:30 PM — Building background agents with Daytona sandboxes James Murdza, Community Ambassador - Pacer, Daytona Developers are increasingly handing off tasks to autonomous agents that run around the clock. We’ll show how Daytona's secure infrastructure enables background agents by providing cloud sandboxes that allow tools such as Claude Code or Codex to run for hours in the background, on a schedule, or in response to events. 7:30 - 8:00 PM — Alyx: Lessons Learned from Building and Evaluating a Production Agent Patricia Arnedo, Developer Relations, Arize AI We have thousands of customers building agents every day and learn a lot from them, but we learned even more when we built Alyx, our in-product AI assistant for using Arize AX. In this talk we'll share the architecture of Alyx, missteps and roads not taken, and the techniques we used to build a high-quality, performant agent in production. 8:00 - 9:00 PM — Happy Hour & Networking Hosted by Arize AI
