Friday is our open co-working day. People come to work on their own projects, take breaks together, and usually stay through the afternoon. It's quiet, focused, and builder- and founder-led.
You can arrive anytime from 10AM. Most people show up after lunch and settle in before 1.30pm. Bring your laptop. Grab any open seat. Stay as long as you like.
At 1.30pm, we pause work briefly for a shared session called The Stage, then everyone goes back to working.

Before You Build: How to Think and Design Your Way to a Better Product with AI
AI made building cheaper. But it also made it easier to build the wrong thing, in the wrong way, too quickly.
Before writing code, there are three things worth getting right:
Are we solving the right problem?
What are the core building blocks of the product?
Is this the right experience for the user?
Gang Rui will share how he uses AI as a thinking partner before implementation starts—clarifying the problem, shaping the product's mental model, and exploring UI directions before anything gets built.
He’ll also live-demo Paper, an AI design tool that helps teams move from rough ideas to designed screens, so you can validate the experience before committing to implementation.

Gang Rui is a Product Builder and the founder of Butterdot, an agency that helps companies build and fix AI systems that work beyond the demo. His work spans product design, RAG pipelines, AI agents, and evaluation frameworks.
